“Go Bananas!” Fair Trade Workshop
This lively, hands-on interactive workshop/discussion focuses on understanding what Fair Trade is, how it affects farmers who have worked long and hard in order to provide for their families and their communities, and what we can do to help. AND the best part is… we will be making—and eating—banana splits!
This workshop will:
- Give participants a working knowledge of fair trade banana farming and how the system works.
- Provide an overview of Fair trade including how it operates and how you can get involved.
- Promote awareness, appreciation, and knowledge of diverse perspectives while building critical thinking skills.
“Go Bananas!” is a two hour workshop, however it can be modified to match the needs of your organization. Tricia Rush will be happy to do that as long as you book the program early enough in advance.
