Community Advocacy and Team Building
This hands-on workshop is designed to introduce participants to various conflict resolution skills through interactive discussions, practical explanations, and practice improvisations (to name a few) while improving communication skills and building imaginative problem solving muscles. It is highly interactive, and incorporates both written and verbal exercises. It may even improve memory skills. Explore fun and interesting ideas that will encourage you to make a difference…right where you are! Handouts and other materials will be provided.
This workshop will:
- Give participants the tools to solve communication problems - and to improve the solutions.
- Support, strengthen and integrate teamwork concepts and principles.
- Promote the awareness, appreciation, and knowledge of diversity while building critical thinking skills.
- Encourage mindful examination of unique attributes of objects and people.
Make A Difference In Your World! is a concise, well-designed program that can easily be adapted to a multitude of settings. The information is arranged to be presented as either a one time only (up to three hours) workshop, or presented as a series of smaller time intervals.
